DEVELOPMENT WORKPLAN A work plan details the research, development and writing to be done at the development stage of the project. The plan should list the tasks to be undertaken and a schedule, with key dates and milestones. Dates on which requests to the CIFVF and other funding agencies have been made and dates of their expected decisions should also be indicated. It is more useful to prepare the plan using actual dates as opposed to stating only the number of days involved for each task. An example of a work plan for a fictional project follows below. Please note that the tasks outlined in the work plan are not appropriate for each project . In this respect, the work plan to be devised for each film/video will vary depending on its genre, subject matter, and size of budget.
